چکیده
Within the hard pomeron approach it is shown that the triple pomeron interaction gives no contribution to the cross-section for a projectile with large enough virtuality g 2 ln Q 2 ∼ 1. For small virtualities g 2 ln Q 2 << 1 its contribution is essential.

The triple pomeron interaction is studied in the perturbative approach of BFKL-Bartels. At finite momentum transfers √ −t the contribution factorizes in the standard manner with a triple-pomeron vertex proportional to 1/ √ −t. At t = 0 the contribution is finite, although it grows faster with energy than for finite t and does not factorize.

We perform a global fit to the inclusive structure function considering a QCD inspired model based on the summation of gluon ladders describing the ep scattering. In lines of a two Pomeron approach, the structure function F 2 has a hard piece given by the model and the remaining soft contributions: the soft Pomeron and non-singlet content. We have investigated several choices for the soft Pomer...

We show that the asymmetry in the fractional energy of charm versus an-ticharm jets produced in high energy diffractive photoproduction is sensitive to the interference of the Odderon (C = −) and Pomeron (C = +) exchange amplitudes in QCD. We predict the dynamical shape of the asymmetry in a simple model and estimate its magnitude to be of the order 15% using constraints from proton-proton vs. ...

We discuss the small-x behaviour of the next-to-leading BFKL equation, depending on various smoothing out procedures of the running coupling constant at low momenta. While scaling violations (with resummed and calculable anomalous dimensions) turn out to be always consistent with the renormalization group, we argue that the nature and the location of the so-called hard Pomeron are dependent on ...
